ROSES

I love roses and have many in my garden. However, they are challenging to grow in this part of Japan. The heat and humidity do their worst and every year it's a struggle to get them through the summer. I often question my choice of trying to grow them but then they bloom and, well, I'm in for another year. Thankfully, there are 2 rose gardens and a rose nursery within 25 minutes of my house and I visit them as often as I can. Lucky me! (^.~)/ The images below are mostly from the local rose gardens but a few are from my garden. Enjoy!
