This was taken at a local nursery. I didn't see the little visitor until I was very close and in the process of taking the shot. He/she wasn't concerned in the least and leisurely continued strolling along...
The chrysanthemum season has arrived and I'm looking forward to visiting the chrysanthemum exhibitions that are being held in front of the local City Hall. There is always an amazing variety of sizes, shapes, and colours. Part of the exhibition is judged as well so I enjoy seeing which ones are the prize winners. I've tried to grow chrysanthemums but with limited luck. The bugs like them too and since I'd rather not use pesticides the plants always look a little worse for wear. Certainly not prize-winning material!
